The hero of "10" is George Webber, a highly successful pop composer with a home in the Hollywood Hills, a Rolls parked in the driveway and sexy, successful singer named Samantha ('Sam') parked in the bedroom. Yet George is curiously unsatisfied. He finds himself constantly observing - Sam calls it ogling - nubile young girls, rating them on a scale 1-10. Then he sees his '10' rating and is convinced that through her he can live out his fantasy of a pure enduring love. On impulse he gives chase. His adventures lead him to a psychiatrist's couch, a dentist chair, and eventually, a balmy, tropical resort...
