All The Right Moves

Set against the harsh background of a Pennsylvania steel town 'All The Right Moves" follows the struggles of Stef Djordjevic, played by Tom Cruise, to break away from a future without hope and build a career as an engineer. The only way he can get to college is through a football scholarship - and it's stormy relationship with the coach, Craig T. Nelson, that forms the dramatic heart of the film. The intensity is tempered only by Stef's loving relationship with his girlfriend Lisa, who he supports him through his most testing times, until he finally wins through.
