J. C. Wiatt has it all. On the rung in her successful management consultant career, she lives with a high-powered investment banker also married to his work. Together they collect African art, co-own their condominium yet have seperate answering machines. She's the ultimate Yuppie - the quiniessential Baby Boomer!
En route to the most important business meeting of her life, J.C. discovers she's inherited a 13 month old baby girl. And unfortunately baby doesn't like fresh pasta or perrier...Squeezed out at work by her shift in priorities, J.C. moves with the baby to Vermont. But old habits die hard for the reluctant Supermom and she devises a scheme for gourmet baby food to mark a return to the fast lane. But what she hadn't counted on was romance with the local veterination (Sam Shepard).
