investigations. . .
Breaking Point
When bitter violence erupts around an angry picket line, a policeman and a demonstrator are left in intensive care. The investigating team are fustrated by the Commander of the Tactical Support Group, but Clark has his own contacts, in particular the attractive journalist Molly Cope. Even if he succeeds in identifying the errant coppers, can he break the strong loyalty that keep the men and their officers silent?
The Only Good Cooper
"Jesus, look at you, your home life's in ruins after some bit of skirt, you're drinking too much, brawling in pubs, getting slapped by grieving widows, you're a wreck Clark, that's what you are." No-one seems to want Tony around, not his wife, not Jenny and certainly not the officers bearing the brunt of his investigation of a recently murdered policeman. But who are they covering up for - the dead constable or themselves?
Watching the Dectectives
When Seargent Markham is arrested for receiving a corrupt payment, Clark and the team decide his station is overdue a thorough turnover. But Markham is being fitted up by his own boss and there are bigger fish to fry if CIB have got the guts to do it. Meanwhile, Tony's personal life could put his job in jeopardy: Jenny's flat is about to be raided as she falls under suspicion in the Carswell case. . .
