Two Bette Davis' for the price of one! After the funeral of her brother-in-law Frank, whom she had loved and planned to marry, Edith Phillips learns he only married her twin sister Margaret because he believed she was pregnant. On the verge of financial collapse, Edith kills Margaret, fakes a suicide note and assumes her identity. But her impersonation is so successful, when it is revealed Frank died of arsenic poisoning, she is accused of the one murder she didn't commit. Will anyone believe her story though?
