Desert Battle

After a mine laying operation in the N. African desert during World War II, Captain George Bradbury and his crew find themselves with their jeep cut off from their own lines. Although short of food and water they manage to put out of action a German armoured car that has been pursuing them. An uneasy agreement is reached between the two crews as both are short of essential supplies and the only hope of survival in a hostile environment is to travel together. This leads to the revival of old hatreds and loyalties but eventually brings out the true characters of all involved.
