A mild-mannered college professor suddenly finds himself up to his neck in beautiful women, the Chicago Mob, and a duel identity when Dan Aykroyd becomes the infamous and hilarious Dr. Detroit. Aykroyd is the meek man on campus, Clifford Skridlow, until he's called upon to protect four luscious "working women" from the notorious crime czar, "Mom" (Kate Murtagh). He assumes the persona of the amazing Dr. Detroit, mobster elite.
