A mild-mannered college professor suddenly finds himself up to his neck in beautiful women, the Chicago Mob, and a duel identity when Dan Aykroyd becomes the infamous and hilarious Dr. Detroit. Aykroyd is the meek man on campus, Clifford Skridlow, until he's called upon to protect four luscious "working women" from the notorious crime czar, "Mom" (Kate Murtagh). He assumes the persona of the amazing Dr. Detroit, mobster elite. From then on, it's chaos all the way, as Aykroyd tries to keep his two very different identities from catching up with each other' It's satrical comedy madness from the same production team that brought you The Blues Brothers, featuring uproarious performances from Howard Hessemen and Donna Dixon, along with a pulsating musical sound track by Devo and James Brown.
