The FUN never sets on the British Empire!
A sparkling British comedy with Jerry Lewis in top form as an American living in England whose wife decides to leave him after the failure of one of his many get-rich-quick schemes. He is determined to get her back at any cost, but converting her country house into an Oriental discotheque doesn't exactly help matters. Nor does his plan to steal the blue-prints of a new electronic oil drill and sell them to an Arab sheik. In the end everything does come right after lots of crazy laughs along the way.
Packed with visual gags, this hilarious movie boasts not only a top-notch performance from Jerry Lewis but also from a long line of British comedy stalwarts, including Terry Thomas as a con man, Bernard Cribbins as an air steward and Nicholas Parsons as the 'other man' in the life of long suffering wife Jacqueline Pearce.
