HE WAS SLOWER THAN A SPEEDING BULLETT, HE WAS WEAKER THAN A LOCOMOTIVE, AND HE COULDN'T LEAP ANYTHING IN A SINGLE BOUND. HE WAS JUST A NICE GUY WANTED TO GIVE PEOPLE SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN.
It all began with a quart of milk and a couple of pint-size punks
It had been a long day for Steve Nichols, he was one of the many struggling actors hired to make public appearences as the courageous crimefighter Captain Avenger. Two things set Steve apart, he really believed in the ideals of Captain Avenger - truth, honour and courage, and he knew every leap, punch and hold of a true crimefighter.
And that's when two villans tried to rob the Mom and pop grocery in Steve's neighbourhood. Steve put down the milk he was buying and, still dressed in his cape and tights, taught the villains a lesson in crime and punishment.
That's when America's greatest city witnessed a legend being reborn as a young man stepped from his Hollywood dreams into the shoes of. . . CAPTAIN AVENGER.
