Two things set Steve apart, he really believed in the ideals of Captain Avenger - truth, honour and courage, and he knew every leap, punch and hold of a true crimefighter. And that's when two villans tried to rob the Mom and pop grocery in Steve's neighbourhood. Steve put down the milk he was buying and, still dressed in his cape and tights, taught the villains a lesson in crime and punishment.
