Bobby Gold (Joe Mantegna) would rather be known as a cop than a Jew, so when he is called off a big murder case to investigate the routine murder of an old Jewish woman in the Black Ghetto, he is understandably angry. But his anger soon turns to intrigue as further investigation into the woman's death points to something far more sinister than just the killing of an old Jewish lady for a couple of dollars.
Written and directed by David Mamet (House of Games), "Homicide" is a tense cop drama that is full of intrigue and is sharp as a double-edged blade.
