House Calls

Directed by Howard Zieff (The Dream Team), House Calls is an hilarilously funny comedy focusing on the somewhat unexpected on-off romantic involvement between a recently widowed surgeon and a not-at-all gay divorcee. Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson make an enormously appealing couple, taking each other on a rocky love affair reminiscent of Tracy and Hepburn. Art Carney is wonderful as the hospital's doddering chief of surgery whose mistakes are covered by the staff while they wait for his retirement. © Universal City Studios Inc.
