Inside the Third Reich (TVM)

Based on the autobiography of Albert Speer, and featuring an all-star cast, 'Inside The 3rd Reich' tells the fascinating story of Speer's (Rutger Hauer) rise to power in Hitler's (Derek Jacobi) Nazi hierarchy from the early 1930's up to Hitler's suicide in 1945. The film opens in 1946 with Speer awaiting sentence in the Nuremberg prison for war crimes against humanity. What follows is a harrowing account of his life and how it was transformed by Adolf Hitler. Speer was found gulity and sentenced to 20yrs in Spandau prison, where he wrote his memoirs.
