Last of the Vikings

In 700 A.D. Harald (CAMERON MITCHELL). son of Viking chieftan Sigurd, returns home laden with rich booty. He learns that his father has been betrayed and killed and the Vikings scattered by Sveno (EDMUND PURDOM), King of Norway. Disguised as Danish Ambassador Godrun, he visits Sveno and falls in love with the King's half-sister, Hilde (ISABELLE COREY). Harald's brother Guntar is captured and tortured by Sveno's men. The real Godrun returns and unmasks Harald, who escapes with his brother. Haakon, an enemy Viking chief, tries to usurp Harald as head of his people, but Harald arrives and kills him. Harald again meets Hilde, who at first blames him for concealing his true identity. Sveno has Hilde kidnapped when she refuses to marry the King of Denmark. Harald attacks the castle to save her, then kills Sveno after a furious battle. Harald marries Hilde and reshapes the Viking Kingdom.
