He is eventually proves to himself that he is not a coward after all. This superbly filmed version of Joesph Conrad's classic novel is packed with action, adventure and excitement. The all-star cast includes Peter O'Toole as Lord Jim, James Mason as a notorious river pirate and Eli Wallach as the feudal war lord known as The General. 2 1/2 hours of spectacular entertainment, produced and directed by one of Hollywood's master film-makers, Richard Brooks.
