Madame Sin

MADAME SIN Behind the thick walls of a lovely old castle on a Scottish island lives Madame Sin. A mysterious, sinister figure who is the power behind a financial empire, the figure behind the greatest crimes of the century, a woman responsible for organising revolutions, tumbling monarchies, assassinating public figures. Anthony Lawrence, ex-CIA agent down on his luck and bitter because of the death of the girl fellow-agent he has planned to marry, meets Madame Sin after being abducted by her principal aide. She needs his help in hi-jacking a hush-hush new Polaris submarine. Its commander, Teddy Cavendish and Lawrence are old friends. Lawrence is forced to use that friendship for the plot, but when trying to double-cross Madame Sin, she keeps one step ahead of him by producing his fiancee Barbara alive and well. Her "death" has been engineered by Madame Sin. The Plan has to go ahead ... or else... The submarine's trials begin. Madame Sin's plan is working well. For Lawrence, there is no future. For Barbara no memories of him because of a brain-probe machine that can erase all recollections and replace them with different ones.
