Molly & Lawless John

Molly, submissive and love-starved wife of Sheriff Marvin Parker, becomes attracted to criminal Johnny Lawler locked in her husband's jail. Realising this, Lawler proceeds to charm Molly into helping him escape. Molly quickly learns that Johnny Lawler is a liar and a cheat and that she has been used by this charming, virile younger man. Sheriff Parker and his deputy relentlessly chase the pair who are trying to reach the Mexican border. Molly's experience changes her from being the meek and dominated drudge into a determined, resolute woman who will tolerate no opposition from anyone - not even Johnny. The final 'showdown' features one of the most dramatic scenes ever performed in a motion picture with its reality and impact.
