Moonlighting

Moonligting. Nowak (Jeremy Irons) is the foreman and only English-speaking member of a team of Polish builders. The four poles arrive in England to carry out a month's moonlighting for a rich compatriot. The problem is, it is December 1981. When the military crackdown hits Poland, Nowark is only one to find out. Instead of telling the other men he decides it wiser to let them remain in ignorance. 'Moonlighting' is a topical black comedy that develops as a series of disasters overtake the stranded men, labour relations disintegrate and Nowak's dilemma deepens.
