After his portrayal of the monster in "Frankenstein", BORIS KARLOFF created another terrifying character in "THE MUMMY". This time Karloff plays Im Ho Tep, an ancient Egyptian high priest who was embalmed alive for attempting to revive a sacrificed vestal virgin. Awakened after 3,700 years by an archaeological expedition, Im Ho Tep, dressed in the garb of a modern Egyptain, he creates terror and mayhem as he searches for his lost love.
TOM TYLER dons the crumbling bandages in this second story of decaying ancient temples, sinister old priests, labyrinthine underground passageways and a secret life giving elixir. In "THE MUMMY'S HAND" , yet another team of archaeologists, this time headed by WALLACE FORD, are thwarted in their attempts to discover the secrets of the pharoahs by their murderous Mummy.
