New Year's Evil

MURDER AT MIDNIGHT - IN 4 TIME ZONES! When a man calling himself "Evil" gets through to Rock Queen Blaize Sullivan on her New Year's Eve national TV rock-show phone-in and says he's going to commit a murder as midnight strikes in each of the four US Time Zones, she dismisses him as just another Hollywood weirdo. Then midnight strikes in the first time zone. Minutes later "Evil" is on the line again with a gruesome recording of his first promised murder - of a nurse in a sanitarium. Now Blaize takes "Evil" seriously, especially as there are three time zones to go, especially when her own personal secretary is found slashed to death in her shower - and especially when Blaize realises she is "Evil's" chosen victim for midnight, Pacific Standard Time.
