Savage Islands

Told in flashback, it has all the thrills of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Set in the South Pacific during the 1880's, it tells the story of Captain 'Bully' Hayes's (Tommy Lee Jones) attempts to defeat fellow bootlegger and deadly enemy Bel Pease (Max Phipps) and to rescue the English girl he has abducted. To do so 'Bully' has to perform some impossible feats of agility and do battle with a German Count intent on military annexation with the use of an iron-clad warship. Filmed on location in Fiji, Savage Islands is packed with stunts and hi-jinks galore, has a tongue-in-cheek quality and what's more is a film to be enjoyed. © Paramount Pictures Corp.
