Scrap Idea: Sooty and friends with presenter Matthew Corbett embark on a money making scheme with scrap iron in order to boost business in their Sooty & Co. shop. When Mo from the market sells Sooty a metal detector, the fun really starts with Sweep, Soo and Scampi all doing their best to help or hinder. Buddy Jolly: The salekeeping of a valuable buddha causes a major security problem for the staff of "Sooty & Co." So much so that Matthew decides to hold an audition for a guard dog. The winner beats off competition from the Manchester Kennel Club but has a problem on his very first night!
