Enterprise is crossing a large void in which no stars are known to exist, A rogue planet suddenly appears and blocks the starship's path and, shortly afterwards, Kirk and Sulu disappear. A search party discovers that they have been turned into statues in General Trelane's collection... US AIRDATE: 12.1.1967 ARENA Stardate: 2124.5 The starfleet base on Cestsus III has been destroyed by aliens. Determined to pursue the enemy ship, the Enterprise gives chase. Staying on a remote star system, both vessels are disabled. Kirk is unwillingly transported from his ship to face the alien captain in hand to hand combat... US AIRDATE: 19.1.1967 THE ALTERNATIVE FACTOR Stardate: 3087.6 Whilst charting a previously unexplored planet, the Enterprise is subjected to a strange effect.
