Support Your Local Sheriff

Quite definitely one of the funniest Westerns of recent years. 'Support Your Local Sheriff' stars James (Rockford) Garner as an unwilling Sheriff brought in to curb the excitement that hits Western village when gold is discovered nearby. One of the nicest things about this film is the appearance of several actors who could be seen regularly in Westerns of the 40s and 50s. Names such as Walter Brennan, Jack Elam and Harry Morgan. 'Support Your Local Sheriff' was so popular that it was soon followed by 'Support Your Local Gunfighter', also available from Warner Home Video.
