To his son Chris, Walter is a vertual stranger. He has little time for his father's cautious approach to life and apparent lack of imagination. But when Donna, Walter's wife, is kidnapped both father and son set off to rescue her. Chris quickly discovers that his father is not the quiet character he had always assumed, but that he had once lived in a different world an ugly and dangerous world in which only a man with deadly skills could survive.
