A semidocumentary account of the dozen murders, all of women, which took place Boston between 1962 to 1964 and all the work of schizophrenic named Albert De Salvo (Tony Curtis). A plumber by trade and a normal, happily married man under most conditions, he lapses into coma's during which he commits sex-strangulation killings.
