For Gerry Miller there's only one way to play. For Gerry Miller (Michael Moriarty) and his wife Sharon (Meryl Streep) ice hockey is their life. When Miller gets relegated to the minor league there is only one way for him to get back into the big time. He must fight. His comeback is swift - and bloody.
