Terry loved soft furry little animals... he loved his mother... and pretty girls... ALL DEAD!!
Terry Lambert (JOHN SAVAGE), released from a two-year prison sentence on a rape charge for which he claims to be innocent, returns unexpectedly to the large Victorian rooming house owned by his devoted mother, Thelma Lambert (ANN SOUTHERN). Meanwhile, Terry has made plans to even the score with Tina Moore (SUE BERNARD), on whose testimony he was jailed. There follows a wild chase which culminates with the girl's death when she drives her car over a cliff. Some days later, Terry visits Rhea Benson (RUTH ROMAN), the lawyer he feels did him an injustice by failing to win his freedom. At knife point he forces her to drink a whole bottle of liquor. When she passes out, he sets fire to the office.
Thelma is becoming suspicious of Terry's involvement with the sudden deaths, but he vehemently denies her accusations. One night, Terry helps Lori Davis (CINDY WILLIAMS), a young girl who lodges in the house, to fix her shower. She provokes him causing Terry's mind to flash back to the rape. He attacks Lori and strangles her in a sudden frenzy. The next morning, Thelma finds Terry with Lori's body in the bathroom. After dark she helps him dispose of the corpse in a garbage can which they throw over a cliff. When they return to the house, Thelma mixes Terry his favourite drink. Then she puts in a large dose of deadly poison for she realises there is no hope for her son. But a sexually-frustrated spinster neighbour, Louise (LUANA ANDERS), has her own final revenge as police sirens wail...
