Now Sam lives in retirement in Jerusalem with Deborah (Gayle Hunnicutt), a beautiful young American who was once Gabriel's mistress. A decision, however, by American and Russian intelligence forces to lure back to Israel in order to eliminate him, causes a major upheavel in Sam's ordered life, the past, with its loyalties and betrayals, suddenly and violently impinging on the present. An attempt by a pair of assassins to eliminate Gabriel fails and a hired gunman called the Dutchman is put on the trail. On the run and desperate, Gabriel contacts his former friend Sam.
