The Tender

The mob own his life, but never underestimate the power of a peaceful man... Bobby (John Travolta) is a down-and-out hustler trying to make a fast buck on the mean streets of Chicago. With no money no prospects ad a ten year old daughter to raise alone, Bobby reluctantly accepts a job from his sinsiter mbster brother-in-law, collecting protection money from the seedy downtown bars. Whilst Bobby is out all hours his daughter befriends a large dobermann dog she finds in the back alley, beaten and left for dead. They form a friendship which will prove to be inserparable...and could eventually save their lives from the hands of the mob.
