Vigilante

"If the law won't get them... we will!"... Eddie Marino is a working class New Yorker made good. An active believer in the American Dream. But when Eddie escapes the crime ridden neighbourhood of Queens, to set up home with his wife and son in the suburbs, that dream is soon to become a nightmare. He is haunted by fears for his family's safety in the face if rising street violence. Yet, under pressure to join a vigilante group, Eddie still has faith in conventional law and order. Even when his son is cold bloodedly shot to death and his wife sadistically beaten and stabbed, his greif stricken rage is outweighed by the belief that the gang responsible and their leader Rico will face the full awsome power of the law. Eddie's faith in the system is finally broken when a lenient judge lets Rico go with little more than a warning. Eddie can take no more and together with the vigilantes he embarks on a bloody trail of revenge. Even for the judge, there will be a final sentence from which there is no appeal... Director:
